Pepperstone appoints new Regional Head of Compliance

Broker Pepperstone has appointed Dianah Njeri Igati as Regional Head of Compliance (for the ASIC, DFSA, SCB, and FSC).

Prior to joining Pepperstone, Njeri Igati spent over four years at Scope Markets Kenya, where she served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance and MLRO. With her support, the company implemented new governance, operational and compliance procedures.

During Igati's tenure as Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at EGM Securities from 2018 to 2019, she gained immense experience in monitoring and implementing controls and combating money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing.

As a Legal Assistant at the Capital Markets Authority from 2015 to 2017, Diane demonstrated her professionalism in handling all legal matters related to commercial transactions, compliance, regulation, due diligence, and project development.

At Pepperstone, Dianah Njeri Igati will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and AML/CFT risk compliance within the requirements of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Dubai Financial Services Authority, Bahamas Securities Commission, and Financial Services Commission (Mauritius), which oversee the company's OTC derivatives offerings in the Australia, Asia Pacific, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Middle East, Latin America, UAE, and Bahamas regions.
