Interactive Brokers continues to enhance the capabilities of its IBKR Desktop platform.

According to the broker, IBKR Desktop Update 0.08 includes an improved MultiSort screener feature that allows users to search and sort data by 10 parameters simultaneously.

This feature is important for traders and investors who need to evaluate a variety of information, such as fundamental data, past performance, and technical indicators.

MultiSort Screeners now include enhanced histogram and color rank screening tools.

Histograms: It is now possible to customize the filter on any factor and set a range of values. When using multiple factors, the histograms display "sliders" on both sides to change the range parameters. Note that changing the range for one factor will affect the results for other ones.

Color Rank: This feature allows users to see which instruments and values are "more" or "less" preferred based on selected parameters and criteria. The broker pointed out that assets and values are often ranked separately.

The IBKR Desktop platform is aimed at traders and investors who prefer a simplified version of TWS but with fast order execution speed and key tools.
