CySEC issues license to Pepperstone

Pepperstone has officially launched commercial operations in Cyprus. The broker is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). In a time of uncertainty surrounding Brexit, this will provide an adequate level of protection for European clients.

As a reminder, the broker wanted to get CySEC permission to expand its client base in Europe. Founded in 2010, the company has already received approval from several regulatory bodies, including ASIC, DFSA and CySEC.

Victor Zachariades will be in charge of Cyprus operations under Pepperstone EU Limited. Prior to that, he held senior positions in various brokerage organizations. Commenting on the receipt of the license, Zachariades noted: “We now officially work in Cyprus and can guarantee the fulfillment of all obligations to our European clients. People may trust us. "

Zacharias also added that obtaining a Cyprus license is a step to protect the company's strategic plan under Brexit. Pepperstone notes that this has been a challenging year for the company. It opened several offices in various countries of the world, received additional licenses. However, this is an indicator of growth, as well as evidence of ambition, striving for development.
