Saxo Bank released trading volume data for December 2023
Danish brokerage Saxo Bank has published its financial report for December 2023, showing an increase in client trading volume.
Saxo Bank's clients' average daily trading volume (ADV) increased by 18% year-on-year and month-on-month to $6.4 billion.
Total FX volume in December was $135 billion, up 13.4% from November and 11% from the same period in 2012.
Saxo Bank's equity and commodities trading volumes for the period were $9.2 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively.
Overall, Saxo Bank's average daily volume across all asset classes increased to $17.6 billion per day in December 2023, up from $16.5 billion in the previous month.
For the full year 2023, Saxo Bank's average monthly client trading volume was $399.4 billion, down 1.5% from $405.4 billion in 2022.
Also in 2023, the total number of active accounts at Saxo Bank exceeded 1 million, and client assets under management reached DKK 721 billion.
