Brokerage group IG Group has announced the appointment of Eren Eraslan as Head of Northern Europe.

The appointment underlines Eraslan's extensive experience in the financial sector.

The professionalism and leadership skills of the new top manager of the company prove his contribution to the development of the company in his previous position. From June 2022 to January 2024, he was Head of Germany and Austria at IG Germany.

Prior to joining IG, Eren was Head of Product at Spectrum Markets, a securitized derivatives dealer. He also worked at IG in London as a senior trader and MTF analyst from 2014 to 2019.

Eraslan also has experience outside of the financial sector. From 2013 to 2014, he worked in research and development at Daimler AG in Stuttgart, Germany.

Eren Eraslan graduated from California State University Fresno with a degree in international economics and from Oxford University Business School.
