Exness opens applications for Fintech Scholarships program
Broker Exness has announced the opening of applications from South African technology students for its prestigious Fintech Scholarships program.
The Exness Fintech Scholarships 2024 program is primarily focused on enhancing the culture of learning and continuous development and underscores the broker's commitment to improving STEM education in the region.
The main goal of the Exness Fintech Scholarships is to provide underserved but talented students with the opportunity to transform their lives and become leaders in the tech industry.
The broker has partnered with the University of Cape Town (UCT), a leading educational institution in South Africa, to deliver the Exness Fintech program.
The scholarships provide comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition fees and some or all living expenses, as appropriate.
To be eligible for the program, students must have received an offer of admission from UCT to study computer science or mathematics and have a minimum GPA of 70%. This ensures that the scholarships are awarded to students who not only need them but also demonstrate good academic performance.
"Through the Exness Fintech Scholarships program, we are investing in bright minds that will shape the future of technology and science," said Martin Thorvaldsson, Exness Community Head.
"We are very excited to continue this impactful program in South Africa," he added.
The Exness Fintech Scholarships currently support 3 students from UCT and 50 individuals from Cyprus and Kenya. Exness plans to expand the program in the future.
