eToro has changed its forex trading hours
Forex broker eToro has announced changes to its forex trading hours in order to protect its traders from potentially inflated spreads.
On March 3, 2024, the broker will introduce a daily break between 22:00 UTC and 22:05 UTC for all forex pairs.
A daily break is a period of time when trading stops. These breaks usually occur during overnight periods, weekends, or holidays to allow prices to stabilize before trading resumes.
Previously, Yoni Assia, CEO of eToro, said that the company's plans for 2024 are related to the introduction of artificial intelligence and technological innovations in trading.
In addition, the company is actively taking steps to go public and, as such, is devoting a lot of time and energy to its development.
"We are definitely looking at the public markets. We will eventually become a public company," Assia said.
The eToro broker focuses on social trading and provides services to traders and investors from more than 140 countries. The company is licensed by CySEC and FCA.
Also, in an effort to meet the increased needs of users, the eToro broker has expanded its cryptoasset offering by adding Render Token, Optimism, and Lido Dao.
