IG Group's Head of Marketing Partnerships leaves the company
Broker IG Group is preparing to make changes to its management team following the resignation of Kevin Algeo, CEO of its Asia Pacific and Africa division, and the departure of Aneira Henery-Morley, Head of Marketing Partnerships.
Aneira Henery-Morley has been with IG Group for 3 years and 10 months. During this time, she initiated a global partnership strategy to reorganize affiliate marketing and create influencer, tech, brand partnership, and refer-a-friend channels across 17 markets. She was also actively involved in the transformation of IG's partner and MarTech ecosystem to improve its efficiency.
Prior to joining the IG Group team, Aneira was Head of Partnerships (O2 Priority) at Cherry London and at Metro UK, where she achieved the position of Head of Digital Product and Business Development.
Last year, IG Group announced plans to reduce its workforce by around 10%. The company has also made significant changes to its leadership team over the past six months. In December, Breon Corcoran was appointed as the new CEO, replacing Juna Felix. In addition, Robert van Eeden was removed as CEO of the South African division, and Afindile AB Bokleny was appointed in his place.
