Dukascopy Bank has announced a reduction of margin requirements on weekends.

The requirements apply on Fridays for all clients with JForex trading accounts.

From March 15, the weekend leverage will be 1:50 instead of 1:30. In addition, it is now possible to increase the leverage to 1:100 for accounts with capital not exceeding $50,000.

The company notes that weekend leverage only applies to those instruments that have higher leverage on weekdays.

Recall that in March, Options Technology and Swiss online bank Dukascopy announced a partnership to provide clients with the advanced tools and technology needed to make informed decisions in the financial markets.

The partnership will allow users to receive real-time market data on US equities.
