XM and Red Cross Singapore organize sports event for migrants

XM Singapore, in collaboration with the Red Cross, successfully organized a sports event for Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) in Singapore.

A total of 21 migrants participated in the sports and entertainment event held at The Cage Kallang on April 7, 2024.

The campaign, part of the Red Cross Secretary General's efforts to support the mental health and well-being of migrant workers, included popular sports such as cricket and football. It also provided MDWs with care kits containing essential items to help reduce mental stress and improve their overall well-being.

The initiative was implemented under the Community Health on Wheels (CHoW) program developed by the Singapore Red Cross. CHoW aims to bring accessible support services closer to the community and support the mental health needs of MDWs and migrant workers through various activities.

"Through initiatives such as these, XM Singapore and the Singapore Red Cross aim to make a positive impact on the community and empower people to develop and achieve," the broker said in a statement.

Broker XM started operations in 2009 and provides its services to traders and investors in nearly 190 countries. The company holds ASIC, FCS, and CySEC licenses, underscoring its reliability and security in the global financial arena.
