Saxo Bank makes changes to its senior management team

Saxo Bank has confirmed Casper Andreas Solbakken as Global Head of Commercial Offering and Experience, strengthening its position in the online trading and investment industry.

Mr. Solbakken, who has more than 18 years of experience with the company, was previously Global Head of Products, Pricing and Platforms. His career at Saxo Bank began in 2006, when he joined the bank as a trainee assistant in Equity and Derivatives Finance.

In his LinkedIn announcement, Solbakken expressed his excitement about his new role and his intention to provide the best trading and investment experience for every Saxo Bank client. His experience and expertise in various areas of banking make him the ideal candidate for this key position.

Previously, Saxo Bank announced a restructuring of its operations, combining its Global Sales and Saxo Experience Officer (SXO) functions into Group Commercial, reflecting its commitment to streamline operations and enhance the client experience. The newly formed Group Commercial will be led by Stig Christensen, who has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer.

These shifts reflect Saxo Bank's strategic focus on improving its business, meeting client needs, and maintaining its leadership in financial services. Solbakken and his team are ready to bring new ideas and strategies to continue the bank's successful growth and provide an outstanding experience for all its clients.

Saxo Bank offers clients access to 85 trading exchanges and platforms, as well as the opportunity to generate additional income by investing in ready-made diversified portfolios. Also, the company has a large amount of educational material on its website, despite its focus on professional traders.
