NordFX announced changes in trading accounts
NordFX broker has announced that it will stop supporting the outdated “Fix” account type and transfer clients to the new NordFX-Real4 trading server.
This change will take place on July 27-28, 2024, and the new server will become active at 00:00 on July 29, 2024 (server time). The purpose of the upgrade is to improve the trading experience and provide clients with better account features.
Starting from the specified date and time, clients should use the new NordFX-Real4 server name to connect to their trading terminals. It is important to note that the passwords for both the trader's cabinet on the NordFX website and the trading terminal will remain unchanged, ensuring a smooth login process.
Together with the server change, all affected accounts will be converted to the “Pro” account type. The “Pro” account offers a number of benefits and additional features, including competitive spreads, a wide range of trading instruments and access to improved trading conditions.
The broker has warned its users that due to technical limitations of the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform, previous trading history will not be available after the migration. Although all open positions and account balances will be migrated in their original form, the ticket (ID) of positions may change. This is an important consideration for those who use trading advisors (EAs) and scripts, as this may affect the performance of these tools.
In addition, trades, deposits and withdrawals may be temporarily unavailable during the transition period. NordFX advises clients to plan accordingly and be prepared for possible disruptions during this period.
It is worth noting that NordFX's transition from the “Fix” account type to the new “Pro” account on the NordFX-Real4 server represents a significant upgrade aimed at improving clients' trading experience. Despite temporary glitches and the inaccessibility of previous trading history, this move promises to provide better trading conditions and enhanced features that meet modern trading needs.
