OANDA releases updated TradingView platform with optimized features

OANDA, a leading global online multi-asset broker, is in the process of releasing an updated version of its TradingView platform.

The broker emphasized that the new version is undergoing a gradual rollout phase, and as such, some users may experience a slight delay in migrating to the updated platform.

The updated TradingView platform offers a more optimized and user-friendly interface aimed at improving trading efficiency for OANDA clients. One of the most significant changes in this update is the elimination of the need to choose between demo and live sub-accounts when logging in. All sub-accounts will now be available at the same time, simplifying the login process and making it easier for traders to manage their portfolios.

In addition, the update removes the display of “Net Positions” and replaces it with the display of “Individual Positions” as usual. This change is aimed at providing traders with a clearer and more detailed view of their positions, allowing for more accurate trading decisions.

Another feature that has been eliminated in the updated version is the “Batch Settlement” feature. While this may be a change for some users, the platform retains its core functionality and continues to support efficient trading.

Furthermore, the Transaction History tab has been replaced with two new tabs, History and Account Summary. The History tab now displays order fulfillment, cancellation and rejection, while the Account Summary tab shows recent settlement transactions. This change is intended to offer a more organized and accessible view of trading activity, making it easier for users to track their transactions.

The broker noted that other transactions such as swaps, deposits and withdrawals will no longer be displayed on TradingView. However, these transactions will still be available through other means on the OANDA platform, ensuring traders have full visibility of activity in their accounts.

As OANDA continues to roll out this updated TradingView platform, clients can expect a more optimized trading experience with improved access to key features. The gradual launch of the upgrade allows the company to ensure a smooth transition for all users while remaining committed to providing a first-class trading environment.
