FIBO Group announced procedures for the extension of energy contracts from September 23, 2024

FIBO Group, a leading provider of online trading services, has announced that the rollover procedures for natural gas, gasoline, and heating oil contracts (NATGAS, GASLN, HTOIL) will begin on September 23, 2024. This move introduces new contracts for traders, offering them the opportunity to transition to the updated instruments while ensuring smooth continuation of trading operations.

The newly available contracts include NATGAS.NOV4, GASLN.NOV4, and HTOIL.NOV4. These contracts will replace the soon-to-expire NATGAS.OCT4, GASLN.OCT4, and HTOIL.OCT4 contracts. As part of the rollover process, the old contracts will be placed in “close-only” mode, limiting traders to closing their existing positions rather than initiating new ones under these contracts.

Traders holding NATGAS.OCT4 positions will need to liquidate their trades by the close of the trading session on September 25, 2024. For those dealing with GASLN.OCT4 and HTOIL.OCT4 contracts, the final liquidation deadline is set for the end of the trading session on September 27, 2024.

This rollover procedure is a standard part of trading futures contracts, which are based on specific expiration dates. As the expiry of contracts approaches, FIBO Group provides its clients with new contracts to ensure continuity in trading and prevent disruptions.

Rollover processes like these are important to keep the market moving smoothly. By transitioning traders to new contracts ahead of the expiration dates, FIBO Group minimizes the risk of potential market disruptions or liquidity issues, offering clients an uninterrupted trading experience.

FIBO Group continues to prioritize seamless operations, ensuring its traders have access to up-to-date instruments and markets. This latest announcement aligns with the company's commitment to providing transparent and efficient trading conditions for its clients.
