LiteFinance will delist BlackRock shares from its listing

LiteFinance has announced the upcoming removal of #BLK shares from its list of trading instruments due to a decision by its liquidity provider. Effective October 2, 2024, at 23:00 GMT+3, trading in #BLK will be discontinued, marking the end of its availability on the platform. In preparation for this, LiteFinance has switched #BLK shares to "close only" mode, meaning traders can no longer place new orders or modify existing ones.

The brokerage has urged all clients with open positions in #BLK to close their positions at their earliest convenience. According to the company’s announcement, any remaining open positions as of the trading cutoff will be liquidated at the prevailing market price at the time of closure.

In "close only" mode, traders are restricted from opening new positions, ensuring that the process of delisting proceeds smoothly. LiteFinance has emphasized that it is crucial for clients to manage their current positions to avoid any potential complications. Any positions that remain open at the 23:00 deadline on October 2 will be automatically closed by LiteFinance at the market price available at the time.

The decision to delist #BLK follows a liquidity provider’s move, which has led LiteFinance to align its trading offerings accordingly. The brokerage has reassured clients that they will be able to liquidate their positions up until the delisting takes effect, helping ensure a smooth transition out of the asset.

LiteFinance’s delisting of #BLK serves as a reminder to traders to closely monitor changes in their trading instruments and promptly react to platform announcements. As trading in #BLK comes to a close, the brokerage remains committed to supporting its clients and providing clear guidance throughout the process.

For those affected by the delisting, LiteFinance advises immediate action to avoid forced liquidation at potentially unfavorable prices.
