Broker Weltrade has launched the Dividends on Margin program, which allows its users to maximize profits.

"Activate the program, save your open positions overnight, and earn weekly," the broker said in a statement.

The dividend rate on open positions depends on the account: Micro - 10%, Premium - 20%, Pro - 15%.

Weltrade emphasized that the annual dividend rate is calculated daily at 00:00 server time and paid weekly to the trading account. However, the annual dividend does not apply to Copy Trading and Swap Free accounts.

As an example of margin distributions, the broker gives a 2-lot EUR/USD sell trade on the Premium account, which remains open at 00:00 server time. The expected margin for this trade is 2,135.14 USD.

The calculated daily dividend at an annual rate of 20% for 365 days is - 20% / 365 * 2,135.14 = 1.17 USD.

In addition, the trader receives a positive swap on the open position in the amount of 2.00 USD (the size of the swap depends on the type of instrument).

The broker points out that the dividend rate is not charged when trading with bonus funds only.
