TeleTrade broker reported changes in trading in HKEX shares
TeleTrade Brokerage announced that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) will be closed on July 1, 2024, in conjunction with Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day.
As a result, trading sessions for the HK50 index and all stocks listed on the HKEX will be suspended on that day.
This official holiday marks the anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The broker recommends traders to take this information into account in their trading plans and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
TeleTrade also warns that spreads may increase and liquidity may decrease on this market.
In addition, the broker draws users' attention to the fact that further adjustments to the trading schedule may occur without prior notice. Up-to-date data on trading instruments can be found in the "Specification" menu.
