Pepperstone's marketing director leaves the company
Tony Gruebner, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at leading Australian Retail FX and CFDs broker Pepperstone, has announced his departure after a successful four-year tenure. Gruebner joined Pepperstone in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role at Sportsbet, Australia’s premier sports betting site.
At Sportsbet, which is a unit of Flutter Entertainment plc (formerly Paddy Power Betfair plc), Gruebner had an impressive career trajectory since joining in 2011. He started in commercial analytics and rose through the ranks to become the General Manager of Customer Operations, GM Analytics, and eventually GM Data Products. His tenure at Sportsbet saw him deeply involved in analytics and data product development, shaping his strategic approach to customer engagement and operations.

- - Pepperstone Trading App: The development and release of the Pepperstone trading app marked a significant milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.
- - Global Brand Campaigns: Partnering with Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, Pepperstone launched three impactful global brand campaigns, with the latest featuring tennis legend John McEnroe.
