TeleTrade announced a change in cryptocurrency tick size from September 21, 2024

TeleTrade, a global provider of financial services, has announced a technical update impacting the tick sizes for several cryptocurrency symbols. Starting on September 21, 2024, after 02:00 server time, changes will be implemented for the tick sizes of four popular crypto-symbols: ENJ/USD, KSM/USD, LRC/USD, and GMT/USD. These adjustments are a result of changes on the liquidity provider's side and are aimed at optimizing trading precision.

The updated tick sizes for the affected crypto-symbols are as follows:

ENJ/USD (Enjin Coin vs US Dollar):

    - Old Tick Size: 0.0001
    - New Tick Size: 0.00001

KSM/USD (Kusama vs US Dollar):

    - Old Tick Size: 0.01
    - New Tick Size: 0.001

LRC/USD (Loopring vs US Dollar):

    - Old Tick Size: 0.0001
    - New Tick Size: 0.00001

GMT/USD (STEPN vs US Dollar):

    - Old Tick Size: 0.0001
    - New Tick Size: 0.00001

Tick sizes represent the smallest price increments at which a financial instrument can trade. By adjusting these tick sizes, TeleTrade is ensuring a more granular pricing model for the affected cryptocurrency pairs. This change will allow traders to experience more precise quoting, ultimately improving order execution for traders who are engaged in these markets.

TeleTrade has reassured clients that the update will not affect any open orders for the specified crypto-symbols. Traders with active positions in ENJUSD, KSMUSD, LRCUSD, and GMTUSD will not need to make any changes to their existing trades, and the update will be applied seamlessly to future transactions.

This move highlights TeleTrade’s ongoing commitment to providing a responsive and efficient trading environment. By adapting to shifts in liquidity providers and market conditions, TeleTrade continues to support traders with optimal trading conditions across a wide range of cryptocurrency markets.
