TeleTrade announced changes in trading sessions from October 7, 2024
Broker TeleTrade has announced that from October 7, 2024, the trading schedule for several financial instruments will undergo changes due to the introduction of Daylight Saving Time (DST) in Australia. These changes are expected to affect trading times for CFDs on Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) indices and equities.
Changes for trading CFDs on the AUS200 index and ASX-listed stocks:
AUS200 Index:
- - Session start: 00:50 (UTC+2)
- - End of session: 08:10 (UTC+2)
- - Beginning of second session: 07:30 (UTC+2)
- - End of second session: 22:00 (UTC+2)
Australian Stock Exchange Shares:
- - Session start: 01:10 (UTC+2)
- - End of session: 06:55 (UTC+2)
TeleTrade notes that traders working with Australian assets, particularly the AUS200 index and shares on the ASX, should be aware of these adjustments to avoid disruption to their trading activity. In addition, traders should exercise caution during, especially during changes to trading schedules due to daylight saving time.
The broker also noted that there may be additional changes to trading schedules that may occur without prior notice. As market conditions may change unexpectedly, traders are advised to remain vigilant and closely monitor any future updates to avoid unforeseen losses.
